Our signature conversation, “Rebuilding American Health from the County Up: Policy, Power and the Future of Community Health,” will bring together nationally recognized leaders to examine how healthcare, government, philanthropy, business, and community organizations can work together to strengthen health systems, improve outcomes, build the workforce pipeline, advance behavioral health, and create sustainable solutions for the future.

The Health Foundation of Cook County (HFCC) is seeking a Request for Proposal (RFP) for lead artists to work on the Health Foundation of Cook County Community Murals Project (CMP). Cook County has a rich tradition of murals dated as far back as 1971. The mission of this CMP is to connect artists, staff, and patients to transform and promote greater relationships and wellbeing for our communities. Our first launch during 2022-2023 to support neighborhood wellbeing was a great success.

What they all have in common is that they are sick or injured and need quality care. Many have few, if any, financial resources. Cook County Health’s clinics and hospitals are the only health care services that welcome everyone regardless of their ability to pay. Over 80% are from communities of color.
